McInnes Cooper Receives Volunteer Appreciation Award
April 16, 2014
McInnes Cooper’s Saint John, New Brunswick office is delighted to have been nominated and selected by the City of Saint John as an Outstanding Corporate Sponsor, in recognition of their work with the Hazen White – St. Francis school. The Volunteer Appreciation Awards highlight people and organizations that improve the quality of life and well-being of citizens through contributions to sport, recreation, and community service.
“McInnes Cooper has been a PAL at Hazen White/St. Francis School for the past four years” says Jennifer Carhart, Principal of HWSF School. “During this time they have demonstrated connectivity to our school and school community. These opportunities that have been created and supported by McInnes Cooper are key to breaking down the barriers to poverty and eventually breaking the circles of generational poverty.”
“It takes a village to raise a child and a community to work together to do that” she added. “An effective community needs leaders and supporters and none of what we do would be possible without the support, guidance and leadership of our friends at McInnes Cooper.”
