McInnes Cooper Names New Board Chair

McInnes Cooper is pleased to announce the appointment of Jack Graham, QC as Chair of their Board of Directors, effective August 14, 2019.
“Jack brings exceptional experience to the Board Chair role. He is a leader and thinker with extensive board governance experience. We are delighted to have him take on this role for McInnes Cooper,” said Greg Connors, former Acting Chair of the Board.
Professionally, Jack is recognized as a leading labour and employment lawyer in Canada. A Partner in our Halifax office, Jack’s practice focuses on employment litigation, labour arbitration, collective bargaining, labour relations, human rights, workers’ compensation and occupational health and safety. He has also been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada® , Lexpert®, and by Chambers Global as a Leading Labour and Employment Law Practitioner. Jack is a member of the Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers (CACE) , the leading management side labour and employment lawyers’ organization in Canada. He served as national President of CACE in 2015-2016.
He is also committed to supporting excellence through sport locally, nationally and internationally. He is currently a Director Emeritus and Past Chair of the Board of Tennis Canada and serves on the Board of the International Tennis Federation as the first Canadian ever elected to this worldwide tennis governing body. Jack is also Chair of the Nova Scotia Regional Tennis Development Association, which is building a $10.8M Regional Tennis Centre of Excellence in HRM. Jack also serves as a Governor of Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame in Calgary.
