Gary Scales, KC, appointed President of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island

We are pleased to congratulate Charlottetown Partner Gary Scales, KC, on his recent appointment as President of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island.
A member of McInnes Cooper's Board of Directors and former Office Lead Partner, Gary's practice focuses on business law, corporate finance, commercial real estate transactions and immigration law.
An active community volunteer, Gary has served in a variety of volunteer leadership roles, including Past President of the Rotary Club of Charlottetown Literacy Foundation, Past Chair of the Law Foundation of PEI, Director of the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce and Director of the United Way of PEI.
Created in 1876, the Law Society of Prince Edward Island governs and regulates the legal profession in the province and protects the public interest in the administration of justice.
