About Adrienne

Adrienne is a Partner in our St. John’s office. She practices in the areas of general corporate and business law, tax, and energy and natural resources. Adrienne regularly advises entrepreneurs, business owners, private corporations and other entities in connection with business structures, corporate reorganizations, purchase and sale transactions, income tax, corporate governance, and other matters. She has extensive experience negotiating and drafting contracts, shareholder agreements and other commercial agreements.

Adrienne has advised clients on various aspects of projects in the oil and gas, power generation and mining sectors including offshore oil and gas regulations and royalties, development and local benefit plans, and mining rights and royalties. She has developed significant experience in the area of Aboriginal law, particularly with respect to the negotiation and drafting of benefits’ agreements and Aboriginal business and partnership structures.

Adrienne is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador. She also sits on McInnes Cooper’s Board of Directors. Adrienne has also completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-Depth Tax Course (Parts I and II).
