Office Manager - Fredericton

We are seeking an Office Manager to lead our legal support teams in our Fredericton and Saint John offices. The Office Manager will work collaboratively with others to support an engaged and innovative culture. This position is actively involved in the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of team members, and works in consultation with lawyers to plan and allocate resources, including scheduling and coverage.
The Office Manager also oversees the day-to-day office administration activities and develops new, innovative ways to carry out those activities. This includes managing the overall operational and financial responsibilities of two offices, maintaining and organizing office facilities, equipment and supplies, managing vendor relationships, ensuring accounting processes are completed, and acting as the on-site contact for technology services.
As the ideal candidate, you bring at least five years’ experience in a leadership role from a team-oriented workplace and you have proven success in coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution, and relationship management. You have exceptional communication and organization skills. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and experience improving and innovating processes. Experience in a law or professional services firm is considered an asset. A diploma or certificate in Human Resources is also considered an asset. Based in Fredericton, you will have the ability to travel frequently to Saint John.
