McInnes Cooper is pleased to invite all 1st year UNB law students to take part in a volunteer event at The Ville Cooperative on Saturday, October 1st.
The Ville promotes health, recreation, and sustainability by providing access to an essential hub that consists of professional workshops, camps and clubs, green technology initiatives, food security, dynamic programming, and many more opportunities within the Fredericton/Marysville community. The Centre provides a platform to connect individuals from all walks of life, by creating an environment for any age or interest group to learn, share and grow.
Volunteer tasks will involve fall garden clean up, and indoor painting and cleaning.
This is a great opportunity to learn more about the student recruitment process at McInnes Cooper as well as their Collective Social Responsibility initiative, which includes: community engagement, environmental stewardship, pro bono legal services, wellness promotions, and diversity & inclusion. Lawyers and other representatives of the firm will be pleased to answer any questions that you might have.
Volunteers will meet at UNB law school (Ludlow Hall) at 9:00am, and will travel together to The Ville. Volunteers will depart The Ville at approximately 2:00pm. Lunch will be served prior to departure.
Space is limited, so sign up early and register below.
