About William

Bill has a background in banking and commercial law with a focus in the areas of real estate development (residential and commercial), banking, medical distribution, fishing interests, and charitable organizations.

Bill is a graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador with a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters of Business Administration. He earned his Law degree from Dalhousie University. He received his Queen’s Counsel appointment in 2014.

Bill is a former Director of the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation. He is a former trustee of Eastern Health Regional Integrated Health Authority (2013), and is a past director of HIROC Healthcare Insurance Reciprocal of Canada, HIROC Management Limited and Newfoundland Titles Inc..
