About Wendy
Wendy regularly counsels insurance clients, providing advice and representation on issues involving insurance coverage and defence of claims, including auto, property and commercial risks. She has appeared before all levels of court in Nova Scotia and has made numerous presentations at local and national conferences and seminars.
Wendy is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society, the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Defence Lawyers. She is past chair of the CBA’s Nova Scotia Insurance Subsection, past board member of the CDL and has served on the CDL’s coverage counsel committee executive. She was co-chair of the CBA Canadian Legal Conference held in Halifax in 2011. She also received Constance R. Glube Spirit Award in 2011 for her contribution to women in law.
