About Thomas

Tom is Counsel in our St. John’s office with a corporate and business law practice that includes banking and financial institutions, aerospace companies, major construction companies and individuals. He has appeared before arbitrators and all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada. Tom acted as lead counsel in several major real estate developments and insolvencies. Tom also served as counsel to the Public Utilities Board and he was a member of a Special Task Group regarding the Upper Churchill Contract.

Tom is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the past Chair of its National Business Law Section. Tom is also a member and Past President of the Law Society of Newfoundland. He belongs to the Newfoundland and Labrador Employers’ Council and is past Director of the Newfoundland Ocean Industries Association. Tom is past chair of the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation.
