Profile

Shivani’s practice involves property litigation, corporate/commercial disputes, regulatory and insurance defence matters. She has appeared before the New Brunswick Court of Queen’s Bench in trial and interlocutory matters and has experience in the dispute resolution process.

 

Shivani, who holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Dalhousie University and a Certificate of Equivalency from the National Committee on Accreditation in Ottawa, obtained her B.A. and LL.B. (with Honours) from the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research, University of Law, India. She clerked under the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India.

 

Shivani is Chair of Canadian Bar Association’s Constitutional and Human Rights Section in New Brunswick, and is on the Board of Directors of the Fredericton Chapter of Habitat for Humanity. A member of the Law Society of New Brunswick, she is also licensed to practice law in India.
