Profile

Leanne is an associate in the Fredericton office and practices in the areas of insurance, estate and general commercial litigation, as well as creditor’s rights. She also has experience with construction disputes, mechanics’ liens and woodsman’s liens, bankruptcy/insolvency litigation, employment matters, and medical malpractice. Leanne was involved in the Beaverbrook Art Gallery case, which included a lengthy public arbitration hearing and subsequent appeal involving trust law and the law of gifting in connection with the ownership of many valuable works of art.

 

Leanne is a Director and Officer of the York-Sunbury Law Society, and a member of the New Brunswick Law Society and the Canadian Bar Association. She is a past president of the Fredericton Silverwood Liberal Association, a member of the St. Thomas Alumni Association. Leanne is also a past member of the Board of Directors for Women in Transition House Inc. and participated in the McInnes Cooper Dragon Boat Festival.
