Profile

Laurie is an Associate in our Halifax office who practices in the areas of corporate and commercial, and corporate finance and securities law. Laurie is responsible for annual meeting planning and preparation for various publicly-listed clients as well as the public offering of common shares and private placements for various publicly-listed clients.

Laurie is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology and Drama from the University of Guelph and LL.B. from the University of New Brunswick. Laurie volunteers in her community through Dress for Success and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Halifax. She is a Director and Secretary of Junior Achievement of Nova Scotia and has been involved with the Atlantic Fringe Festival for several years.
