Profile

Katie is an Associate in our Halifax office with a practice focusing on labour and employment law.

 

Originally from St. John’s, Newfoundland, Katie received her Bachelor of Music from Memorial University in 2004, her Masters of Business Administration from Saint Mary’s University in 2006, and her Bachelor of Laws from the University of New Brunswick in 2009.

 

While at law school, Katie won the Law Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador Centennial Scholarship and the Stewart McKelvey prize in Labour and Employment. Katie was also a member of the 1st place team in the 2007 Trilateral Moot competition.

 

Katie is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society.
