About Jeff

Jeff Blucher is a partner in our Halifax office who practices in the areas of income tax, corporate law and wills, estates and trusts. Jeff is the Firm Wide Group Leader for Tax & Estate Planning.

Jeff provides income tax and business law advice to individuals, public and private corporations, charitable and non-profit organizations and other entities in connection with the establishment of business structures, corporate reorganizations, purchase and sale transactions and other matters. He has significant experience with income tax planning for small and medium size businesses, estate planning and business succession planning. Jeff also has significant experience with the formation of Nova Scotia unlimited liability companies and the establishment and reorganization of inbound corporate structures involving Nova Scotia unlimited liability companies.

Jeff has completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-Depth Tax Course. Jeff frequently speaks on income tax and business law topics. In the past he was on the Board of Governors for the Canadian Tax Foundation. Jeff is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He is a past Chair of the Canadian Bar Association’s National Wills, Estates and Trusts Section. He is also a past member of the board of directors of Pier 21 Society.
