Profile

Eric is a Partner in our Moncton office and was the firm’s first Manager of Client Development and Service. He is also a member of the Business Dispute Resolution and Construction Industry Groups. Eric advises a wide range of clients regarding corporate and commercial disputes, including construction claims, shareholder disputes, professional liability claims, insurance issues and employment disputes. He advises clients in the avoidance of litigation and alternative dispute resolution as well. He represents corporations and individuals, contractors, owners, majority and minority shareholders, employees, architects, engineers, surveyors, accountants, employers, among others. Eric was recognized by The Best Lawyers in Canada 2010 for his practice in Construction law.

 

Eric joined Robert Radford, Q.C. and Bernie Miller in opening our Moncton office in 1997. He was also co-counsel in the largest civil competition case in Atlantic Canada and has handled a number of oppression cases. In his construction practice, Eric was co-counsel in a series of arbitrations involving the building of the Fredericton-Moncton highway and acted for one member of the successful joint venture for the building of the Fredericton-Quebec highway.

 

Eric is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of New Brunswick, the Moncton Area Lawyers’ Association and the Moncton Northeast Construction Association. In his community, he belongs to the Greater Moncton Chamber of Commerce, and is a member and volunteer with the Miramichi Salmon Association and the St. Mary’s River Association.
