Danielle is a litigation Associate in our Fredericton office who practices primarily in the areas of insurance defence and labour & employment. She represents insurers with respect to personal injury claims, motor vehicle accidents and long term disability claims. She also advises clients on a variety of employment matters, such as opinions on the Employment Standards Act, employment contracts, wrongful dismissal claims, occupational health and safety issues, and matters before the Workers’ Compensation Board.
Danielle strives to achieve pre-trial resolutions for clients through negotiated settlements, settlement conferences and meditation. She is also well-equipped to handle files that proceed to litigation; her experience includes appearances before the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal, Nova Scotia Supreme Court, Nova Scotia Small Claims Court, and more recently, the New Brunswick Court of Queen’s Bench.
Danielle is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of New Brunswick, the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society, the York-Sudbury Law Society, the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association, the Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers (CACE), Canadian Defence Lawyers and the Advocates’ Society.
A keen volunteer, Danielle is a board member for Dance Fredericton, a member of its Fundraising Committee, a board member of The Ville, and a CBA Women Lawyers’ Forum volunteer.
