Profile

Adel is an Associate in our Moncton office practicing in the areas of corporate and business law and property law. Adel obtained her LL.B. from the University of Ottawa. While at law school, she obtained the Blake, Cassels & Graydon LL.P. entrance scholarship and tutored first year law students in the areas of property law, legislation and constitutional law.

 

Before joining McInnes Cooper in 2010, Adel articled under Chief Justice Drapeau at the New Brunswick Court of Appeal and practiced in a medium-sized law firm in Moncton.

 

Adel also holds a B.SS. with Honours in Political Science (2004) from the University of Ottawa and has experienced Canadian federal politics first hand by acting as a Parliamentary Page at the Senate of Canada, as an Administrative Assistant to Senator Joyce Fairbairn and as a guide interpreter at Rideau Hall under the tenure of the Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson.

 

Adel is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of New Brunswick and the Law Society of New Brunswick’s Articling Committee.

 

Her practice is fluently bilingual in English and French.
