Changing Tide of Ocean Resources comes to Halifax

McInnes Cooper and Lex Mundi will bring together North American thought leaders in offshore energy and ocean science for a dive into the legal implications of the evolving use of our oceans’ resources in Halifax on September 30th for a day long round table discussion.
Included in the sessions will be topics such as the increasing shift to renewable energy, sub sea power cables, ocean research and technology, and the impact of new food safety law on seafood exports.
Speakers include Dr. Sue Molloy, Vice President of Strategy & Policy, Black Rock Tidal Power, lawyer Alex Yong Hao of Lex Mundi member firm Jun He, Dr. Wayne St-Amour of Nova Scotia Community College, Paul Douglas of Falck Safety Services among others leaders in the ocean industry. The event will feature a keynote speaker on aquaculture, Robert Orr, CEO and Managing Director, Cuna del Mar.
