McInnes Cooper supports Free The Children
February 22, 2013
Through our CSR program at McInnes Cooper, we are committed to supporting causes that make a deep and lasting impact on society, both locally and abroad. When we learned that Free The Children was planning to bring their We Day event to Atlantic Canada, we jumped at the opportunity to get involved.
As the Community Engagement Partner of We Day Atlantic Canada on November 27, 2013, we plan to leverage our existing relationships with community organizations to support youth in fulfilling acts of awareness and social change.
The event is designed to inspire and empower youth, who will leave forever changed by the stories of passionate activists and survivors of social injustice.
To launch our partnership, we were fortunate to have Free The Children creator Craig Kielburger deliver a presentation to our members at a lunch event on Friday, February 22.
We are tremendously excited to be working with such a wonderful organization and we look forward to engaging our community partners in the important work that Free The Children promotes, both domestically in internationally.
