Bruce Russell, QC named to Tax Court of Canada Bench and Bar Committee
October 1, 2014
McInnes Cooper is pleased to announce that Halifax partner, Bruce Russell, QC, has been named as one of five private sector tax lawyers to the Tax Court of Canada Bench and Bar Committee. Bruce’s three year term will mark the first time that a private sector lawyer from Atlantic Canada has been named to the Committee.
The Committee, which reports to the Canadian Bar Association and National Sections Council, provides an opportunity for dialogue between the Court and the taxation bar in relation to proceedings and practices before the Court.
We congratulate Bruce on this well deserved appointment.
